WHY WE STOCK IT
A caffeine-free, Canadian-made loose-leaf tea containing saw palmetto, small-flower willow herb, stinging nettle and other traditional herbs. It is licensed to help relieve urinary symptoms associated with early-stage mild to moderate benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), including weak flow, incomplete emptying and frequent daytime or nighttime urination.
 
BEST FOR
Adult men with mild prostate-related urinary symptoms who prefer a herbal tea instead of capsules. A healthcare practitioner should first assess new or changing urinary symptoms to exclude prostate cancer, infection, medication effects and other urinary conditions.
 
This tea does not shrink the prostate and should not replace prescribed BPH medication or recommended prostate monitoring.
 
HOW TO USE IT
Adult men: Add 2 teaspoons—approximately 4 g—to one cup of hot water and steep for 12–15 minutes. Drink 1 cup twice daily with food to reduce stomach upset. Sweetener may be added if desired.
 
Because the formula can increase urination, drink it in the morning and early afternoon rather than immediately before bed. At two cups daily, the 120 g package provides approximately a 15-day supply. Once the desired effect is achieved, the manufacturer suggests one cup daily for maintenance.
 
MEDICATION & SAFETY CAUTIONS
Do not use if you have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, diabetes, edema or an allergy to plants in the daisy family. Do not combine it with prescription diuretics or other products that increase urination.
Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you have a history of kidney stones, an acute infection, a neurological or mental-health condition, a hormone-sensitive condition or take any medication. Ask our pharmacist before using it with blood thinners, prostate medication, blood-pressure medication or hormone therapy.
 
Stop use and seek prompt medical attention for dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, an abnormal heartbeat or difficulty breathing. Discontinue use if an allergic reaction occurs.
 
Seek urgent assessment for inability to urinate, blood in the urine, fever, severe pelvic or back pain, vomiting or rapidly worsening symptoms. Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
