To achieve the smoothest results, add the products to the blender in this order so that they are well incorporated:
1. Liquid (nut milk, filtered water, Greek yogurt)
2. Frozen fruits + veggies
3. Leafy greens
4. Dry ingredients (seeds, protein powders)
5. Ice + other frozen ingredients
There are two ways to improve the smoothie:
Although a basic strawberry smoothie makes a tasty snack or a light meal, there are some exciting ways to jazz this super sipper. First, try the favourite tricks of our Research Kitchen:
Smoothie art: before pouring the smoothie into your cup, garnish the glass by pushing thinly sliced fruit pieces against your smoothie cup's interior. It would be best to use a wooden skewer to stick the fruit closer to the bottle's bottom. Then gently spoon the smoothie into the bottle, and you'll be left with a fun drink decorated with a fun pattern of fresh fruit! Try this one for our favourite fruity summer smoothies.

Ombré Effect: To try a two-tone smoothie, make two different smoothie recipes with contrasting hues (strawberry and raspberry). Pour the first smoothie into your cup, filling halfway, then top with the other smoothie. This produces eye-catching colour and (bonus!) double as much taste.

Make them in Advance.
Get a head start on your day and freeze the ingredients for your smoothie the night before. For example, only dump fruit and vegetables into a resealable bag or a healthy jar and freeze overnight. Add the liquid to your blender, along with any dry ingredients, then add the pre-frozen pack and blend.
